Learning Sequence 1- Construct a concept/mind
map in Word using formatting tools such as autoshapes, lines, arrows
showing what you already know about the rainforest. At the end of the unit return to your concept mind map and add your newly acquired knowledge in a different coloured font. Learning Sequence 3 – Construct a table to compare the Daintree rainforest with a rainforest in another part of the world. Use the following elements: animals, plants, people, issues, solutions. |

Learning Sequence 1 – Using a draw/paint
programme draw an image representing a rainforest with emergent growth,
canopy, understorey and forest floor. Insert pictures and label
particular animals and plants for each level. |
